Niños Book Fest

When Dual language teacher Gisel Barrett who had been organizing a monthly Children's Book Read Aloud in Barrio Logan invited me for a reading, which led to this awesome collaboration.

Together, Gisel and I shared the same love for bilingual books, the need for an event for children in the community and the vision of what a Bilingual Book Fest would look like. We both want to bring to the community a celebration of Día del Niño Bilingual Book Festival through workshops, art galleries, music and reading aloud... Bilingual Literacy for All!
